If you are an adult, you should read this book! I don't recommend it to kids due to the cursing in the book. The story, which takes place in Sweden, is about a grumpy old widower named Ove who is disappointed with the current state of society. He especially hates it when people drive in the residential area of his community and he doesn't trust any man who drives a BMW. Although Ove seems to be the grumpiest man alive, deep down he has a heart of gold. Just when he thinks the world has nothing left to offer him, something strange starts to happen in his life. People (mostly his neighbors) start to befriend him one by one. They don't seem to mind his grumpiness, and actually think he is quite funny. Over time, sweet, genuine relationships form. This is a funny, emotional story that will make you cry tears of both joy and sadness. I highly recommend it!
