This is one of the 7th grade summer reading books and it is written by the same author as
The Invention of Hugo Cabret. The book is very similar to Hugo in that the story is told in both wonderful drawings and in words. In this book, a story of a young boy who loses his hearing and wanders into a museum, where he discovers the museum's secrets. At the same time, a different story from the past about a young deaf girl is told through pictures. At the end of the story, the author does a great job of tying these two characters together. It is a fast, fun read.
